It's time to fill the freezer with bacon, pork chops, and sausage. Better get to shooting or you'll have a whole lot more.

Yep, shootem all.  Don't go to the lease without your gun.  Talk to the neighbors too and get them on board with an aggressive eradication plan.  Don't wait because they will quickly take over and impact your deer hunting in a negative way.  From what I have seen, the deer don't like them and will take off when the hogs arrive.

The ONLY positive thing about having some hogs is you can hunt them year around.  Makes for a good excuse to go to the lease in May and June.

when I lived in Texas a few years back  I was told that a few wild bores had gotten loose from the Ft Worth zoo.  In the mid 1990's  They had scattered around the Ft Worth area.  Quite a few of them had gone up north  by  Saginaw I think was the name of the Town.  They are all  over that area now.   I never got a chance to hunt them.

You have an army of helpers here, just say the word. Road trip anyone?   @--0--0123 --099-780
At the age of 12 I began being my step dad's personal driving crew. I spent two years trouncing thru creek beds, woods, draws yelling, clapping and singing to jump deer.
The remaining 39 years I've been learning and loving the great outdoors that we all are blessed with.

Im in if i can get a ride!
WKY is right, it took about five years for them to get bad here, and you've seen my pics. I get way more hog pics now than deer. The deer won't come in when a hog is around. I've seen it with my own eyes. @--0--0126

Bacon goes with everything.  I even saw something about bacon-flavored ice cream on the tube.  Pork fat rules!

tncowboy and I saw our first one this weekend out riding. We had seen the evidence but never a hog. We asked an employee where we were about it. He said he had already trapped 8 that week and had 2 more in trapps that he had to go get. Now they have them bad!!

Where there's one there's a bunch!  Glad they haven't made their way here yet, but I am afraid it is only matter of time.
