i really don't have a problem so you can send them to me and i'll try them out for ya ;) - but seriously some people i know trim them down just a little - be careful not to do too much - cause you can ruin them quick - btw - i was a member for over 15 years and never got to try anything - you are so lucky  --9-908

I just write them and ask them when I will be testing again and within a few months they send me something.
In fact it is that time again. ;D

I'm looking at joining up with them . They call me at least 4 times a year. They are a good company.

As SW said you can try trimming the edge but be careful not to trim to much. Start out by just trimming a little and keep working. If that doesn't work I know they make small ones for people that have that trouble.

I never had a gaging problem but more of a nervous problem.  Calls always sounded good at home practicing but when that bird starts coming in, found I was making all kinds of god awful noises.  Adrenelin and mouth calls just don't mix.  My buddies son on the other hand, loves them and is amazing.   Personally, I stick to my hand operated calls.  I did get one that mounts on my leg and can be very easily worked when sitting down, especially when on a knee and its up a bit.

the call should be used in the front of the top of your mouth.  moisten the call in luke warm water and the edges should soften.  If the call is too large for your mouth then cut a little off the edges and it may not make you gag as much.
Get used to the call being in your mouth.  Over time it will get easier.
GOOD LUCK

The guy in the booth next to us at the Expo gave me a youth model to start out with, because I have the same problem.  I've actually got it to work after about a week of playing around with it.

I agree , I spoke to a rep from call maker and he said most calls can be trimmed slightly.  "Just be careful not to cut off to much"
God bless and happy hunting
