This was a surprise but not totally unexpected given the bird feeder raids that have been reported in the area.

He only appears to be about a 2-1/2 year old but would still help fill the freezer. Nice Picture.

The landowner would prefer to let him walk so I'll have to let him pass - this year.  Anyway, I'd rather have a full-sized rug in a few years than a throw blanket this year.

Mainbeam told me he moved the mineral block down the trail.  We are now in bear country.  There have been multiple sightings around the County.  But I have not seen one yet and I cannot imagine seeing one lumber by.  I kinda hope one comes by while deer hunting, but then again I might have to clean my pants.  You guys who live in real bear country have earned my respect.
