Bugfixer - That bear was hit right below the Evergreen exit on I65 a couple of years ago.  That same year one about that size was hit and killed about a mile from my house. They seem to be moving back into the area from the Alabama River delta.

Newt - 5 is the limit here in AL and I always quit at that - used to be 6 years ago.  It's hard to limit now that the early DST time change makes it impossible to hunt before work.  Season here starts 3/15 and ends the last of April.

Skulls - I live in Monroe county just east of Clarke county.

dang!  ive been hunting evergreen for the last 5yrs.  never knew there were any bears in that area.  pretty cool!!  i had a bear make the 5 oclock news 2 weeks ago about a mile from my house.  he decided to hang out in a big oak tree in someones back yard
