The Camp Fire / Re: Moving Back In
« Last post by BoBallistic on May 17, 2019, 09:17:05 AM »
Yari - Was in a Pawn Shop yesterday with an old friend and there was a couple of undercover cops there...they arrived as I was leaving, their cars were unmarked but they were in the uniforms....After saying my good-by's to the old friend, went back inside the Pawn Shop and talk to them and (the guy who sold me on a Christensen Arm 6.5 PRC (See firearms section about the Ridgeline 6.5 PRC) and the two officers gave me a non emergency number to call and report the 7 stolen game trail cameras, they said that they would take a report and would put me in contract with the pawn shop officer. Then the guy behind the counter told me that in most cases the hold the item(s) 21 days before releasing it because of the fact that they do get in a lot of stolen property....in so I called yesterday after noon when I got home a file a police report and gave them the serial numbers of the stolen Browning GT cameras....hopefully it will be in the future this guy who stole them will try and pawn one and now they have a name....I think it was the ServPro guys who stole them, they were in a Browning Soft bag and it had also a bunch of 1 GB cards in it as well.....

Have replace the 7 Browning with 4 new Browning GTC....Have gotten them set up and everything and have put them back in the same Browning Soft Cooler Bag as before....cannot wait to put them out for the season.....should be interesting.....

But have order more Chrome Wire Racks from Amazon and they should be here next Monday or Tuesday and that should be it....and now the tweaking begins.....

Well hey, just for the record - - I'd be happy to catch your fish any time, just call when you need help.

Congrats on the quick limit - that's always fun on those occasions where they're almost jumping into the boat.  Be careful now in how you speak to the better half about this - she may not come along in the future and then who would fetch your beers, get the moss off your hooks, etc - think about it!

alright, i might have over sold this a bit. it's not like i'm the first fisherman to embellish a bit. @--0--0105

i went to the St Croix River last night. this is the 3rd time out this year. i only caught 1 walleye the last 2 trips. the river is still at flood stage, so no wake. that has kept me from a lot of good places. 4-5 mph doesn't get you far. my wife went both times and was trying to figure out how i couldn't catch fish w/ all the gear i have @--0--0105 i left her home last night. when she asked what i did different i said "i left the smart allic anchor in the front of the boat at home this time". --099-780 i had to duck on that one

i got out at 2:00. i caught my first walleye at 2:30. by 3:30 i was limited out.(6 fish) i located a group of hungry eyes. i also had 3 shorts under 15" that i let go and a jumbo perch as a bonus. it really makes you wonder why they "censored Word" of a sudden went nuts? @--0--0117 @--0--0117

it was a great night. i only had 1 other boat around and he was out all day and doing OK. he was still 2 short of his limit when i left. now i need the water to go down.

i didn't even need Mad there to catch my fish. @--0--0105   i
