i could see it happening, especially if your buddy shot it and you didn't see it coming. in SK this fall i caught a duck and snow goose as they fell. if they were a big canadian goose, you might bust up a shoulder ##$%#113 ##$%#113 ##$%#113

Bunch of years ago we had an actual outdoor writer in the local Peoria newspaper.  He was hunting from a blind somewhere out of state and someone shot a trumpeter swan that made a Kamikazee style nosedive into the blind.  Fortunately no one was hurt, but I bet that had to be one heck of an ordeal!

I've ducked a few when hunting in ND west of Grand Forks AFB and near Lake Mattamuskeet in NC when working at Dare County Bombing/Gunnery Range.  Had a few fall at my feet also.  Lots of fun, till you get hit.     ##$%#12

I've never hunted enough waterfowl to experience such as some of y'all encountered along the way, but dove shooting is the same way.  I've caught dove in my hand several times as they fell.  I just imagine a big ol' goose could create some damage as described in the article.  You might look like this little feller> ##$%#113 !
