Title: Adobe Turkey
Post by: [Blocked] on July 10, 2016, 11:15:56 AM
This Adobe app kept popping up on my Ipad. It was easy to get it up and running. This may be a better way for me to post photos off my ipad as I have not had success shrinking and posting and had to rely on forum members to do it for me. So, I will post this link to my March 2016 Turkey hunt.

Let me know if you run into any issues with the link, thanks!

Great! That helps me get past the posting of photo size limitations out of the way!

Title: Turkey mount
Post by: [Blocked] on November 13, 2016, 08:50:52 AM
Well, checking out the pics on this spring post 2016, I called my taxidermist in Georgia to get a status on my Turkey mount. He said when i dropped it off, it shoukd be done early Nivember. I spoke to him again. His business must be booming. It may be ready in January. Any more delays I may tell him to hikd iff fir my next hunt in Georgia March 2017 and i will pick it up then. It is just a tail mount, beard and spurs on a wood plaque, it us just the waiting that keeps me anxious!.......... ##$%#1118

He must be really busy Flintlock.  Mounting a tail, beard and spurs shouldn't take more than 4-5 weeks.  Takes roughly about a month for the tail to dry out, and you could make the plaque while waiting for the tail to dry.  Once the tail is dry, it doesn't take long to assemble the mount.

Yep, i reckon he is real busy. Does awesome work. He will do the wooden plaque for my set up. I like the photo og the Tom and I in the forum picture but it sure would be nice to have the real deal hanging in my house (pending wife approval, of course @--0--0105)
