Could be but that is not likely.  Most of the boys right in this area get to be impressive 6 pointers.  We raerly see them get 8.  Most the hunter around here will be taking a shot at him this year if they can.  My Husband and I try to manage our deer but with absolutly no one else in the area willing to do so.  You never know what will make the general fire arms season around here.

Good luck with him hope he makes it.

His ma ma is the smartest doe around and he still hangs with her.  If she taught him right i hope he does too.  I would like to see him last another couple of years.  We have one buck around (his brother) that is athree year old now.  He is a seven point now.  I would guess he is only about 19 inches wide but his g2s have to be over 12 inches long.  He is just wise enough to never get caught on a trail cam.  I have seen him twice in the field with our night vision scope.

I think you could call him dagger!  He was probably a late drop fawn the year before.  He should have a nice basket next year.

This guy is hanging with all the MaMa doe.  I watched hime playing "tag" with the fawns last night in my pasture.  I went and moved one of my camera to see if i can catch him in the act.  He isn't a trophy but he is a kid and fun to watch.....
